TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1.

Power

The cleaning company accepts cleaning orders from customers and thus fulfils a work contract. It performs work as a cleaning company with a guarantee of the agreed services. The deployment planning and the distribution of tasks to the cleaning staff is carried out by the cleaning company, which is the only party authorized to issue instructions.

 

2.

Start, duration, termination

Having dscussed all the details, we arrange the first cleaning for a customer so that he/she can see our quality and approach. The first cleaning goes without any obligation to proceed with the service. It is considered to be a one-off service.

If the client is satisfied with everything and willing to book regular service, the contractual relationship begins with the signing of the contract by both parties or with verbal agreement and is concluded for a period defined by the parties or for an indefinite period.

 

It can be terminated in writing by both sides with a notice period of 14 days at the end of each working week.

In this case a customer will have the last cleaning(s) at the scheduled day(s) or can choose to compensate scheduled hours (the invoice will be sent) and cancel the service immediately. 

For force majeure reasons (eg. natural disaster, epidemic), both contracting parties can terminate the contract at any time without notice.

 

3.

Rescheduling

We require 7 days’ notice for cancellation of service. Cancellation must be made by calling 0762783387, messaging WhatsApp/ Signal 0762783387, 0762051705 or email to quantumsatis.info@gmail.com. You will receive a confirmation message/ e-mail within 1 business day of making your service cancellation.

 

If a customer contacts us less than 7 days  in advance of the scheduled cleaning to cancel, Quantum Satis asks either to compensate for the lost hours or to reschedule them for another day as extra hours to the regular schedule.

 

Should a recurring client choose to skip a cleaning(s), Quantum Satis reserves the right to extend the time of the following cleaning to catch up and allow enough time to perform the job properly.

 

Monthly service is offered under the following conditions – the client understands that monthly cleanings are scheduled every four weeks and Quantum Satis cannot guarantee the same cleaning technician or the same time slot.

 

4.

Initial admission

The customer's premises are cleaned in accordance with the specifications drawn up jointly by the contracting parties.

 

5.

Order volume

The order volume can be expanded or reduced at any time by mutual agreement

 

6.

Due diligence

The cleaning company carries out the tasks assigned to it carefully and with the best possible protection of the interests of the customers and guarantees their success.

If a customer wishes to change/adjust the cleaning tasks/ schedule, he/she should contact the manager ⁠by calling: 0762783387, messaging WhatsApp/ Signal: 0762783387, 0762051705 or email to quantumsatis.info@gmail.com. Managers will offer options for changing the schedule or add the preferred tasks in the worksheets for the next cleaning and inform a cleaning masters. New schedule or completion of all ammended tasks can be guaranteed by the company only if it is communicated with a manager and tasks are entered into the worksheet.

 

Communication between company and a customer happens through managers. Cleaning masters are not allowed to give their contact details (phone number, etc.)  to a customer or take customer's c⁠ontact details for any type of communication.

 

According to Quantum Satis etiquette, our cleaning masters are not allowed to accept food/snacks or drinks from the customers, or talk with ⁠customers on personal topics. Please do not offer our personnel any food/snacks or drinks.

If you would like to thank our cleaning master for the good job additionally, please feel free to add tips to the bill payment. And our cleaning master will get  tips as your gratitude. 
 

 

7.

Paying for Services

The work will be charged in man hours and to the nearest ¼ of an hour. The price in the cleaning offer applies. A cleaning hour consists of 55 minutes of working time.

 

Invoice is issued in 2 ways (agreed with the customer in the individual offer before starting the service or can be adjusted by mutual agreement):

-after each cleaning (with the term: “Payable upon receipt”). The customer undertakes to pay this amount within 7 days. In the event of a second reminder, the cleaning agency reserves the right to invoice CHF 50(incl. VAT) for the additional expenses incurred. All expenses incurred in connection with an operation will be billed in full to the customer.

 

- monthly(possible only for recurring weekly/biweekly customers) invoicing happens on the 5⁠th / 20⁠th of a calendar month. The bill must be paid by the 10th/ 25⁠th of the current month accordingly. Our manager will contact you to inform about the possible option.

 

Quantum Satis  reserves the right to re-evaluate the price for the cleaning session at any time based on the amount of time it takes to perform our services in order to meet our customer’s standards and expectations. We monitor the actual cleaning time for the initial one to three months of service and occasionally thereafter. Quantum Satis   will contact the client to discuss possible price or service revisions if the cleaning time differs significantly from the original bid.

 

Please have your home picked up of toys, clothing, dishes, etc., before our arrival. Our cleaning technicians have a timetable we must adhere to in order to provide excellent service to all our clients. Picking up your home is not included in our estimated price. However, it can be done in additional time upon request.

 

8.

Tipping:

 

A tip is neither expected nor required. It is completely optional and at your discretion. If you should decide to add a tip with your payment, please let us know how much of your payment is designated as a tip.

 

9.

Cleaning material

The customer provides the cleaning company with all utensils such as cleaning material, cleaning agents, etc. free of charge. The customer is responsible for the availability of the required work items.

 

10.

Staff

The cleaning agency confirms that all staff employed meet the legal requirements in every respect and that the conditions of employment fully meet the requirements of the general employment contract for the cleaning industry.

 

11.

Responsibility of the customer

The customer undertakes to cooperate in the fulfillment of the contract within the scope of his possibilities. He ensures, for example, that the cleaning cloths and supplies are available every time they are used, the house is accessible, etc.

 

The service address correctly indicated in the booking form is a responsibility of a customer.

 

If a cleaning master arrives to the service address but the cleaning could not be performed for reasons beyond the control of the cleaning company (the address was provided not correctly by the customer, the customer is not at home and we could not have an access to the premises, cleaning supplies are not available, etc), Quantum Satis Cleaning charges for the service according to the scheduled hours.

 

12.

Protecting Your Valuables:

To avoid accidental breakage, please secure valuables, fragile collectibles, and irreplaceable family heirlooms. We request you place these items in a cabinet or drawer, or we can make a note on our worksheet not to touch them.

 

Quantum Satis Cleaning service takes great care while cleaning your home, but occasionally accidents do happen. The cleaning team will leave a note or inform you of breakage. The office will follow up with a phone call to determine the best course of action to take for you.

 

Quantum Satis Cleaning service is not responsible for breakage due to normal wear and tear, deterioration caused by age or weather, or damage caused by improper assembly, construction, or mounting of an item (EX: blinds, pictures, fan blades, light fixtures, etc.)

 

As plants require specialized care, Quantum Satis Cleaning service is unable to maintain them. However, we can add it as an extra task to our worksheet after getting certain instructions from the client.

 

13.

Preparing Children and Pets:

For safety reasons, please see that children are supervised while we are cleaning your home.

 

We ask that you secure your pets while we are cleaning your home. Quantum Satis Cleaning service and its staff reserve the right to leave the premises, for the protection of our cleaning technicians, if a pet exhibits aggressive behavior. Quantum Satis Cleaning service will not be held responsible for the behavior of any pet(s) while the cleaning service is being performed.

 

14.

Scheduling Other Service Providers:

Due to safety and security considerations, please do not schedule other home service providers when we are scheduled to clean if you are not present to supervise them. Quantum Satis Cleaning service will not let anyone into your home.

 

Client activities or the activities of other home service providers which result in a request to re-clean an area the technician has already cleaned will result in an additional working time i.e. additional fee.

 

15.

Business secret, the duty of confidentiality

The cleaning agency and its employees undertake not to pass on any information that they learn within the framework of the present contractual relationship to third parties. This applies in particular to documents of all kinds, housing, income and ownership. The customer also agrees that he is subject to a duty of confidentiality for business secrets. Business secrets are any information the disclosure of which could harm the cleaning agency and its employees in any way. This duty of confidentiality continues even after the contractual relationship has been terminated.

 

16.

Non-competition

Without the written consent of the cleaning agency, the customer may not poach its employees, neither for its own account nor for the account of a third party, or compete with the cleaning agency in any way, e.g. by mediating or concluding business. Even after termination of the contractual relationship, regardless of the chosen legal form, the customer is prohibited from employing housekeepers from the cleaning company in any way, either directly or indirectly. This prohibition lasts up to two years after the end of the contractual relationship and is limited to the area in which the cleaning agency is active.

 

Quantum Satis Cleaning Service makes a significant investment in recruiting, certifying and training our technicians. By accepting our service, you agree neither to solicit, directly or indirectly, nor hire any current of former Quantum Satis Cleaning Service technician who has provided services to your home, without the expressed written consent of Quantum Satis Cleaning Service and compensation of CHF 4500 to Quantum Satis Cleaning Service for its loss.

 

17.

Right of Refusal

The customer can reject from a certain employee of the cleaning company for valid reasons which call into question the achievement of the objectives of this contract. At the customer's request, the cleaning company will try to find a replacement immediately.

 

18.

Standby times

The cleaning hourly rate according to Art. 7 applies during normal working hours. A higher rate applies to orders on weekends, public holidays, and evenings, as well as at night.

 

Normal working hours:

Monday - Friday 7.30 a.m. – 8.00 p.m.

 

Other working hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00 p.m. – 7.30 a.m.

Sunday and public holidays

 

19.

Adjustments

Legal requirements, changes by the joint commission, requirements of the GAV, adjustments to inflation, VAT and price adjustments, etc. are expressly reserved.

 

20.

Guarantee of Your Satisfaction:

Our work is guaranteed; if you think any area that is in the scope of work is not clean or cleaned well, we will re-clean that area to your satisfaction.

 

Please call within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will return as soon as possible within 2 business days to reclean the problem area. The client can refuse from reclean on his/her own free will, this will mean that he/she is satisfied with the results of cleaning. Request for re-clean lodged after 24 hours will result in a fee. We appreciate the opportunity to make things right in a timely manner.

 

Our guarantee does not include a refund when services have been rendered.

 

21.

Changes to the terms and conditions

The customer accepts these terms and conditions. The contractor reserves the right to to change general terms and conditions at any time and notify customers about the changes within 3 business days.

 

By confirmation of the day and time of the first cleaning appointment (in writing or verbally in the phone call) you agree to the terms and conditions.

 

We are convinced that Trust is the foundation of any relations.

 

By accepting and hiring Quantum Satis Cleaning Service you agree to be the party responsible for full payment and communication, upholding this agreement and satisfaction guarantee procedures. Third-party involvement is not recognized by Quantum Satis Cleaning Service.
