How to keep your house clean during Holidays?
Christmas is a wonderful time when all the family and friends get together.
In some families guests come every day during the celebration week.
This raises the question, HOW TO KEEP HOUSE CLEAN AND PRESENTABLE FOR GUESTS? (And enjoy the fest at the same time?)
Here are our small tips:
1. Take it easy!
No emotional stress if something isn’t perfect! You are in your sweet home with the dearest people nearby. And all the organizational things are manageable!
2. Plan a bit in advance and split the responsibilities between family members - someone is responsible for vacuuming, others helps with tidying up, dishes, etc. (choose certain time – 10-15 min only - when everybody does his task) Make it a funny game of transformation to a Magic Christmas home.
3. Keep your cleaning supplies and a vacuum cleaner ready and close to hand!
4. Make quick cleanings before and after each guests’ visit: short vacuuming of open spaces, wiping sinks, toilets and visible surfaces in the rooms where the celebration takes place.
5. To simplify a kitchen cleaning during all the meal preparations, make your dishwasher always ready for dishes (or give this responsibility to someone from your family members), and put dirty dishes there as soon as it appears.
6. Instead of using cleaning towels at this busy time, disposable all-purpose cleaning tissues will be in handy for you!
7. Keep your fridge organized.
8. If you feel overwhelming call for a helper, we work for you during Holidays!
… And when the holiday is over call us for a deeper clean!
